I hope she has to serve time.

Make an example of her.

A federal jury in Milwaukee delivered a verdict on Thursday, finding Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan guilty of felony obstruction of federal agents. The charge stems from an April incident where Dugan interfered with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers attempting to arrest an illegal alien who had appeared in her courtroom.

Dugan, a sitting judge with nine years on the bench, faced two counts: felony obstruction and a misdemeanor for concealing a person to prevent arrest. The jury convicted her on the felony but acquitted her on the misdemeanor after deliberating for over six hours.

Nope. Prison for her is the only thing that will send a message.

I agree. A few years in the Federal pen, permanent disbarrment, and a lifetime ban on practicing law.

No more voting, no more gun ownership, no more international travel.

She can work at McDonald's or Walmart. If they're willing to take a gamble on a felon.

Good. Wonder why she got off on the misdemeanor.

Complicated crime, not as simple as an assault or a murder. It's not a question of "who did it", it's a question of "what happened" and those are hard to prove

(I have a relative who is a district attorney)

You do realize that is the same thing, right?

Where did you come up with the restriction on international travel?

BTW, disbarment is the correct spelling.

Hopefully this sends a strong message to courtrooms all across this nation. You use your courtroom and your status to protect illegal criminals, you will pay a price.

Democrats tend to skate on non-violent stuff like this. Remember the guy that falsified a document to the FISA court some years ago and was convicted? All he got was a light slap on the wrist, but I thought he shoulda got some prison time. I don't know what the law says, but one hopes that she gets permanently disbarred at least, plus ineligible to run for any state or federal public office.
These days, there is little or no deterrence for this kind of act. Some political activists (even a judge) have no qualms about doing something illegal if they know they can get away with no serious consequences even if convicted.

Send her to alligator alley.

By the looks of her, that one wouldn't survive a federal prison. Just disbar her and make sure she doesn't end up giving free legal advice at an NGO.
NO!!

Put the ***** in Prison. If we are to save our Republic, dimocrap FILTH need to know we're not playing.

No mercy, no quarter. Raise the Black Flag and begin......
