Millions of democratic voters stayed home during the primary

I've read that this is true which means that Trump will probably win. The reason is is that democratic voters didn't like either candidate so they declined to vote for either one. What will these people do in the national election? Will they all of a sudden vote for Hillary when they wouldn't vote for her during the primary? I really doubt that. They will either stay home and not vote or vote for Trump.
