I have always thought that it was strange to assert that we have an "immigration problem", as politicians say. There is no immigration problem; there is a Hispanic immigrant problem. So why not just call it that?

Also, the problem is not immigration. Rather, it is the undocumented invasion of who knows what, from who knows where. We are literally just letting these swarthy little beaners walk across the border and then disappear into the population. NO OTHER CIVILIZED COUNTRY ALLOWS THIS!!!!!!

Yup. Bush pushed hard for immigration reform but his own republican abandoned him. Rubio tried 2 years but he got in trouble.
Obama has been pushing for reform maybe for 6 years(not sure) but everybody knew its DOA. He even mentioned it in his last state of the union address. Exact words.... It's not perfect but he will sign it.
Since day one that Obama step into Oval Office the GOPs tried very hard so he will not get reelected or look bad. That is why you see all these EO.

The last immigration reform was in early 80s and its needed a comprehensive reform badly.
