In an unprecedented event, a boat laden with migrants was spotted landing on a Malibu beach, approximately 100 miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border. This incident, which Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin described as incredibly rare, was captured by security cameras in the wee hours of November 28.

About 25 individuals were seen disembarking from the boat and sprinting onto the shore.

The landing site was in proximity to the homes of several celebrities, including singer and actress Barbra Streisand, a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump’s border wall.

The incident has brought renewed attention to the escalating number of immigrants crossing into the U.S. under President Joe Biden’s administration, with a record 2.8 million people being stopped or turned away last year – the highest number since at least 1980.

So landing near celebrities' homes is what passes for getting attention to the illegal immigration crisis now?

I guess they can add "boatload" to their "got-a-way" numbers now.

The bottom is out of the bucket.

This is nothing new, you must have missed all the boats that have carried immigrants to the US over the decades, including Europeans..

The United States is home to the highest number of immigrants in the world. An estimated 50.6 million people in the United States—a bit more than 15% of the total population of 331.4 million—were born in a foreign country. The number of immigrants in the U.S. has increased by at least 400% since 1965.

The Biden administration has admitted millions more migrants than they have stopped/turned away. And I don't know how rare it is that boatloads of migrants are coming on shore avoiding the border altogether. There are many miles of relatively unmonitored shoreline. Even with more than 1000 coast guard boats out there, it would be really easy to miss intercepting a lot of those and there's a lot of shoreline out there for them to access. We know the gotaways number in the 100s of thousands at the border. . .570+ thousand estimated this year alone so far.

And the Biden administration continues to clothe, feed, house them, give them free transportation to pretty much anywhere in the country they want to know, does not forbid them to work if they can get it, provides subsidized housing to those who can afford it plus free health care at any urgent care or E.R., free education for their children, etc. etc. etc.

It is insane.

The thread is not about immigration. The thread is about illegal migration.

Some people really need to understand the difference between those two things.

Never happened. Never did. Never will.
