Mig-31, an Oldie but a Goodie

I followed the Mig-25s career for many years in it's early days and was impressed. How could you take what was essentially a steel AC and have that kind of success. Well, the Mig-31 may look like a Mig-25 but it's a whole new ballgame. Without the SR-71 in the inventory, the Mig-31 becomes the highest flying and fastest Manned Aircraft in the skies.
