That is the doctrine at the heart of every totalitarian political philosophy.

1. And what are those middle-class, bourgeoisie values?
They are the rules and ideals which every good parent wishes to inculcate to their children, they are the paths to happiness and success in a healthy society.

bour·geoi·sie

the middle class, typically with reference to its perceived materialistic values or conventional attitudes.

(in Marxist contexts) the capitalist class who own most of society's wealth and means of production. Google

2. "In August 2017, University of Pennsylvania law professor Amy Wax wrote a column for the Philadelphia Inquirer in defense of middle-class values. She and her co-author cited a list of behavioral norms that, as Wax, put it, "was almost universally endorsed between the end of World War II and the mid-1960s."

They were: "Get married before you have children and strive to stay married for their sake. Get the education you need for gainful employment, work hard, and avoid idleness. Go the extra mile for your employer or client. Be a patriot, ready to serve the country. Be neighborly, civic-minded, and charitable. Avoid coarse language in public. Be respectful of authority. Eschew substance abuse and crime."

She later wrote in the Wall Street Journal, "The fact that the 'bourgeois culture' these norms embodied has broken down since the 1960s largely explains today's social pathologies – and re-embracing that culture would go a long way toward addressing those pathologies."
Explaining the Left, Part IV: Leftist Contempt for Middle-Class Values

3. Due to the influence of Marxism, the term 'bourgeois,' and the values expressed by Professor Wax have taken on a pejorative cast.

In 1921, Lenin, and Stalin, annexed Georgia. And Stalin advised it be done with maximum force.
He demanded of the local Bolsheviks:

" You must draw a white-hot iron over this Georgian land!… It seems to me you have already forgotten the principle of the dictatorship of the proletariat. You will have to break the wings of this Georgia! Let the blood of the petit bourgeois flow until they give up all their resistance! Impale them! Tear them apart!" Suggestion Box for Future Book Discussions ~

Of course, today, we find a new term the Left uses to replace ‘bourgeoisie’…..

The middle class should not exist.

There are only those who are poor and strive to be rich, and those who are rich who desperately seek to prevent themselves from becoming poor.

Do not confuse standard authoritarianism with the modern left’s regressivism.

The list of norms is definitely a list i agree with. In today's world though more and more young married working middle class couples are choosing not to have kids instead focusing on their careers. This is a courageous choice as if you don't want to spend the time raising them then don't have them. And there's nothing wrong with a cold beer o r glass of wine in fact my doctor recommends up to 2 per day. Other than that the list is good. Retirement beats working any day of the week.

Excellent post, per the normative.

The core of atheistic French pre-Revolutionary radicalism, adapted by Marx, was and is rebellion against, and the eventual complete annihilation of the nucleus of Western morality, which was and remains (just barely) a very ancient and primeval ethos, philosophy and system of ethics based on protecting at all costs and venerating, the vital importance of the individual. From Christ's revolutionary concept of the individual being able to be saved by means of ultimate personal responsibility and faith, to the signing of the Declaration, the middle class individual has eternally be the bane of collective, group identity, and the devolution of the individual human mind, body, spirit and soul—the ultimate goal of the radical, godless Left, a torch picked up in recent modern history by the radical American Left. We middle class Americans are the front line in the most ancient of class struggles, hated up and down and from all possible sides because we represent a satisfied class of human beings; a class who is functional, comfortable and strong in moral fact and faith.

Would be difficult to add anything to that post, sonny......but if I can remind those not conversant with the French Revolution, the origin of every totalitarian revolution since, it was based on the view that man could be God, and religion and morality could be replaced with science and reason.

The direct result was to turn France into an abattoir, with some 600,000 slaughtered.

Obama wasn't of the GOP.....

1.“Team Obama: Sorry, America, the ‘new normal’ may be here to stay

The good times may be over for good. In a speech to the Economic Club of New York yesterday, US Treasury Secretary Jack Lew said the US GDP growth rate, adjusted for inflation, is now projected to run a little above 2% a year.”

2. "...take-home pay for many American workers has effectively fallen since the economic recovery began in 2009, according to a new study by an advocacy group that is to be released on Thursday.

The declines were greatest for the lowest-paid workers in sectors where hiring has been strong — home health care, food preparation and retailing — even though wages were already below average to begin with in those service industries.

“Stagnant wages are a problem for everyone at this point, but the imbalance in the economy has become more pronounced since the recession,”..." http://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/03/b...rkers-see-biggest-drop-in-paychecks.html?_r=0

3. . Obama is the first President never to have had a year of 3% or better economic growth: "... annual growth during Obama’s “recovery” has never topped 3%. By comparison, it never fell below 3% during the Reagan recovery. And in the nine years following the 1990-91 recession, GDP grew faster than 3% in all but two. Heck, even Jimmy Carter had some strong growth years." President Obama's Growth Gap Hits $1.31 Trillion | Investor's Business Daily

Remember the last time you got anything right?

Me neither.

4.Two pillar of bourgeoisie belief system are religion and family.

Well....the Left cannot allow that.

"Just because any religious idea, any idea of any god at all, any flirtation even with a god, is the most inexpressible foulness, particularly tolerantly (and often even favourably) accepted by thedemocratic bourgeoisie—for that very reason it is the most dangerous foulness, the most shameful “infection.” A million physicalsins, dirty tricks, acts of violence and infections are much more easily discovered by the crowd, and therefore are much less dangerous, than the nubile, spiritual idea of god, dressed up in the most attractive “ideological” costumes." Letter from Lenin to Maxim Gorky, Written on November 13 or 14, 1913 Lenin 55. TO MAXIM GORKY

This is the basis, the explanation, for the anti-Religion view you've been taught in government schools, and by the secular media.

And.....

Abolition [Aufhebung] of the family! Even the most radical flare up at this infamous proposal of the Communists. On what foundation is the present family, the bourgeois family, based? On capital, on private gain. In its completely developed form, this family exists only among the bourgeoisie." Marx and Engels, Communist Manifesto, ch 2...
Communist Manifesto (Chapter 2)

After losing power, Leon Trotsky would claim that the reason that communism had not been successful was that Stalin had not been ruthless enough in his efforts to eliminate the family. See Trotsky's The Revolution Betrayed, trans. Max Eastman, New York, 1965, pp. 145ff.
The Abolition of the Family

But…..it is not just Communists, and their spin-off, the Nazis, who champion the destruction of the bourgeoisie…..

….it is also the ersatz versions of the above, the Liberals, Progressives, Democrats.

I’ll prove it……next.

Thanks. Often it is too easy to take for granted universal understanding of even basic near modern history in the minds of my fellow Americans.

I agree. In their desire to kill God, to slay Him from the minds of the French elite nobility down to the lowliest serf, the pre-Revolution Enlightenment Era, French ideologue writers and philosophers who spent so much vacation time in the Bastille, indeed fantasized man becoming God himself, and in taking up the mantle of the divine in human hands, redefining the qualities and natures of mankind to its basest essence. Whenever a few men play at being Gods, hundreds of thousands more gleefully slaughter each other.

While I can't in good spirit condemn Nietzsche for Zarathustra's crusade to see in the Übermensch, some of the framework was laid there for God's eventual replacement. Don't we all have to walk high ropes in our lives sometimes? And isn't there always someone trying to push us off balance? Zarathustra has proven he will not catch us when we fall, and while he was kind enough to carry our corpses away from the public square for burial, I'd rather be eternally saved than have my corpse left in the trunk of a hollow tree.

Really glad that you brought up the fact that the 32nd President opened the door for Marxism in our society, and we haven't recovered since.

Instead, the indoctrination centers....schools....make Senator Joe McCarthy a villain for pointing out the array of communists in our government.

And.....who was the 'greeter' when they were welcomed in?

As a result of the ascension of the Nazis, Neo-Marxist 'think-tank,' the Frankfurt School, moved to Geneva, and then to New York City. The openness, freedom and liberty of the United States is all they needed to infect this society and its cultural institutions. Too many simply ignored the onslaught…”And the most dangerous thing you can do with a driven leftist intellectual clique is ignore it!” Breitbart, “Righteous Indignation,” p. 114.

a. Waiting to ally themselves with the Frankfurt School Marxists were the Americans who had accepted the Wilson/TR synthesis of Hegel and Marx. And a welcoming ‘nest’ was provided for these vipers by the Columbia University Sociology department. And, the perfect storm: America was up for helping scholars fleeing from Germany.

The guy in charge of this was Edward R. Murrow, the Emergency Committee in Aid of Displaced Foreign Scholars. Ibid.

1. And what are those middle-class, bourgeoisie values?
They are the rules and ideals which every good parent wishes to inculcate to their children, they are the paths to happiness and success in a healthy society.

The middle class should not exist.

There are only those who are poor and strive to be rich, and those who are rich who desperately seek to prevent themselves from becoming poor.

Do not confuse standard authoritarianism with the modern left’s regressivism.
"The middle class should not exist".....good bumper sticker saying for the GOP.

You forgot the tagline that says, "Signed, The Democrats".

You are so right. Christian values are being completely destroyed by the Republican Party and Trump.

Sexual attacks, pedophilia, lying, looting, is there anything they won’t do?

Adultery, unprotected sex with porn stars, peeping Tom at young girls, smearing women who have been targeted and attacked.

Racism, mocking sexual assault victims.

As if republican policies were bad enough. Going after benefits for the middle class and the poor. And now they’ve completely pulled the curtain away and let us see what a corrupt and filthy and dirty party they are. They are against everything this country stands for. They are even worse than the confederate slaveholders that had to be defeated.

Let's check.

“Between the early 1980s and 2007 we lived in an economic Golden Age. Never before have so many people advanced so far economically in so short a period of time as they have during the last 25 years. Until the credit crisis, 70 million people a year were joining the middle class. The U.S. kicked off this long boom with the economic reforms of Ronald Reagan, particularly his enormous income tax cuts. We burst from the economic stagnation of the 1970s into a dynamic, innovative, high-tech-oriented economy. Even in recent years the much-maligned U.S. did well. Between year-end 2002 and year-end 2007 U.S. growth exceeded the entire size of China's economy.”
How Capitalism Will Save Us

  1. Under Reagan, the debt went up $1.7 trillion, from $900 billion to $2.6 trillion.
  2. But….the national wealth went up $ 17 trillion
  3. Reagan's near-trillion-dollar bulge in defense spending transformed the global balance of power in favor of capitalism. Spurring a stock-market, energy, venture-capital, real-estate and employment boom, the Reagan tax-rate cuts and other pro-enterprise policies added some $17 trillion to America's private-sector assets, dwarfing the trillion-dollar rise in public-sector deficits and creating 45 million net new jobs at rising wages and salaries.

Reaganomics - Wikipedia

And the tax cuts of the Economic Recovery Act of 1981 stimulated economic growth. “As a 1982 JEC study pointed out,[1] similar across-the-board tax cuts had been implemented in the 1920s as the Mellon tax cuts, and in the 1960s as the Kennedy tax cuts. In both cases the reduction of high marginal tax rates actually increased tax payments by "the rich," also increasing their share of total individual income taxes paid.” http://www.house.gov/jec/fiscal/tx-grwth/reagtxct/reagtxct.htm

“As inflation came down and as more and more of the tax cuts from the 1981 Act went into effect, the economic began a strong and sustained pattern of growth.” http://www.ustreas.gov/education/fact-sheets/taxes/ustax.shtml

  1. The benefits from Reaganomics:

    3. Unemployment fell to 5.5% from 7.1% (Table B-35)
    4. Prime interest rate fell by one-third.(Table B-73)
