Former First Lady Michelle Obama is not used to getting called out for her lies by the mainstream media.
That’s why it had to have come as a humiliating surprise to her when the Associated Press brutally fact-checked her for claiming during her speech at the Democratic National Convention that the Trump administration caged children at the U.S. southern border.
While speaking on the first night of the DNC, Michelle insisted that President Donald Trump and his administration used “cages” to house migrant children at the U.S. southern border. She then lamented that Americans are forced to “watch in horror as children are torn from their families and thrown into cages.”

Michelle completely ignored the fact that her own husband, former President Barack Obama, used the same facilities for the same purpose during his time in the White House. The Associated Press took her to task for this, saying that her claim was misleading at best, and was a completely distorted comparison.
