Fat kids become fat adults - with a massive impact on our society. The 'national security' thing is nonsense but the sentiments are not. We desperately need to educate parents - and children - about why healthy eating is important. That will be where the left and right will split. The left will want to ban shit and legislate, the right will want to educate and provide information to help people make wise choices.

This is exactly what Michelle Obama is pushing. That and asking public schools to serve healthy foods instead of fat laden crap.
