According to Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), if this current iteration of immigration reform passes through Congress, there will never again be a Republican president; and, instead, the United States will be governed by a permanent “liberal progressive” majority.

Speaking with WorldNetDaily, Bachmann warned that while her beliefs “may sound melodramatic,” she insists the dire consequences of immigration reform would be “that big and that important” to warrant sounding the alarms.

“This is President Obama’s number one political agenda item,” she said, “because he knows we will never again have a Republican president, ever, if amnesty goes into effect.” She added

we'll also never see unemployment under 8%, SS benefits will continue to be stripped away and the infrastructure will continue to further crumble while we divert money to cover entitlements

congress authorized and funded Iraq and Afghanistan, they could not have proceeded with them without congressional authorization and funding. Congress was controlled by democrats at the time.

The rich already pay most of the country's bills, and I have no issue with that. But if all americans had some "skin in the game" as obama says, we might have a little more outrage about the ever increasing national debt.

So the hiring of Hispanics to acquire cheaper workers, or to do a job that's just too labor intensive or beneath them for any American to do, "justifies" the Federal Government to overlook Immigration Laws themselves and seek out exceptions to the rule?
