No one has said there is no effect, it is a small effect which many have been saying for years.

The 350 ppm bowlmovement made it clear that our existence is in danger by going past that number and the many "tipping points" narrative over the years that was a sign of doomsday run away warming.

The Positive Feedback Loop which has never happened in the past BILLION years or so was suppoed to become a run away warming run that would jkill us.

The burner heats the water, the ice absorbs the heat energy to melt, cooling the water. The liquid water does indeed change temperature or the energy from the stove would never get to the ice.

No the melting ice isn't cooling the water in the pot since melting can only occur when it is warming up as the water in the pot heads to the boiling stage because of strong incoming thermalized heat flow.

1. Why does one Earth polar circle have 9+ times the ice of the other?
