META (Facebook) Banning Conservatives over their opinions.....

This is what SCOTUS must weigh in on.

It's quite an interesting issue, as if they accept the presumed public space right to free speech (and association) even if that space is privately owned, many platforms, including Facebook, must alter their practices.

If they don't accept this presumed argument, it could undo a great deal of legal precedent in this area.

Hence our eagerly awaiting the inevitable SCOTUS intervention.

Is there a case about this heading to SCOTUS?

and you keep giving it to me....what a good little servant you are
As I said, I actually know you and your ilk.
Your Smileys are actually bits of aggravation that almost everyone knows you're a selfish Libertarian who hasn't yet moved to one of the multitudes of civilized selfish-Libertarian nations.
I use you for practice with the locals.

I'm not sure anything beyond high court clarification is needed.

Facebook will presumably then adjust its practices to fall in line with any ruling they might perceive as adverse.
When is this cosplayer, Scotus D&D campaign supposed to kick off so you fucksticks can vanquish the mighty Facebook? 😄

I’m tending to side with it’s a private entity and as such can decide who their customers are.

Go visit your local Target and maybe you'll see it there.

I was at my local Target yesterday, as a matter of fact. They're the only ones who sell the socks I like.

I saw no "public space"...

You may even be approached to purchase a candy bar.

You're starting to go off the reservation here. I don't have any idea what you're talking about.

Target controls what happens on their property...

I'm as surprised as you that they continue to maintain such spaces, but they do.

Quite the headache for them.

You'll have to giove me an example of what to look for, because I see no such spaces at my local Target, or any Target for that matter...

Yes and no, and I think you're referring to the property lines, though the answer is still the same.

And further complications arise depending on various contractual agreements, the larger layout of their location, and state/county law.

Quite the headache...

AGain, without actual examples of what you're talking about, I'll just write this off as ignorant drivel...

I don't?

News to me.

No, you don't.

And it's now been three times that you've failed to explain why you think you do.

That's likely because you know you don't have that right, but you just want to be a contrarian...

Only in my dreams.

Well, then commenting that you're waiting for SCOTUS to weigh in on it is pretty stupid...

Here's the issue: Facebook/META censors people, and you think they don't have the right to do that.
They have certain rights, but they're overreaching.
Luckily for you, the math is real easy on this one: Facebook's a private company.
As you've now said a dozen or more times; water is also wet.
You don't have a "right" to do anything on Facebook,
False.
and you simply cannot provide an intelligent argument which demonstrates otherwise...
Let's see what SCOTUS ultimately determines, shall we? :)

In the last 2 years it's the second time around.
They were warned under Trump and complied.

I shall! :)

It's going to be a fascinating journey to the highest court to determine Facebook's rights and obligations, this is certain.
Which means you don't have a clue and are just fantasizing in fucked up MAGA world again.

Why do you fragile flowers whine so much? Just join the Trump cult on unTruth Social and leave the grandmas posting pictures in FB alone.

Their customers to a certain extent, the visitors to their public space less so.

They have certain rights, but they're overreaching.

In your opinion.

And that's pretty meaningless...

As you've now said a dozen or more times; water is also wet.

And, as a private company, they have the right to establish the terms of service...

You keep saying you think you have some "right" to do what you want on Facebook, yet you continue to be a profound failure at explaining why.

Let me help you out: You have no explanation because you know what you say is false...

Let's see what SCOTUS ultimately determines, shall we?

Well, with nothing currently before SCOTUS regarding this, it looks as though you're going to have to play ball by Facebook's rules if you want to use their platform.

Ain't life grand?

Interesting.

If I knew what state you were in, I could check the laws & Targets there, but I understand if you choose not to disclose this.

Sure they did. That why you Soy Boys are still here crying and begging to Scotus to force Facebook to let you back in their clubhouse. 😄

As a Mod, I assume you have siggies turned on and can see I'm not a Trump supporter, but your false claim is irrelevant regardless.
Why do you fragile flowers whine so much?
See above.

I'm not crying.
We have Zoom and Smart Devices for communicating with family and friends.
Facebook is for idiots.

Zoom and Smart devices require everyone to be connected at the same time to communicate. With FB my sister in Slovenia can post pictures or prayer request once and all 1000 plus "friends" can see them and read it at their leisure
