Honestly, I only read just a bit of the thread pertaining to the 'Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays' debate. I really don't think there is any right or wrong way to wish someone well during the holidays, only preferences. I respect the way everyone celebrates their holidays and hope everyone is happy. I grew up with nothing more than 'Merry Christmas' and that's what the holidays will always be to me, but I also understand others are celebrating their own holidays.

We encourage equal participation on the board from different political affiliations, and we also encourage participation from different religions. With that said...

I want to wish everyone and their families a happy and healthy holiday season.

:)

Thanks, Jim. I wish you and your family the same.

Merry Christmas, Jim!

Free speech is under the gun around the world these days --- in Turkey, a novelist was on trial for saying there was an Armenian genocide, and in Austria, a British historian is in jail for questioning the holocaust. And in Ohio, a tavern owner who asks that customers speak English is facing heavy fines from the "Human Rights" commission.

So message boards that allow all opinions are important.
