Beyond the Swamp-love for him, the gushing over RonnyD and the attacks on Trump are mainly reality avoidance/scapegoating in which Republicans fail to accept that they made two serious missteps in 2022:

1) Failing to articulate a plan for governance - "We're not them [Democrats]!" is s shitty campaign slogan.

2) Moving too fast on abortion.

I've become accustomed to throwing them all into one basket of deplorables: Liberals, leftists, socialists, communists, Marxists, progressives, Democrats, or whatever you want to call them.

They all vote for the same candidates, all of whom have the same goals which are indistinguishable from what the founding fathers had in mind. A Marxist by any other name is still a Marxist.

I beg to differ with you. Remember the Bernie supporters in 2016? How much more leftist, socialist, communist, or Marxist can one be than to have been a Bernie supporter?

Well 12% of them voted for Trump, for some reason. Probably as a "protest vote" against the DNC. And 8% of them voted for Jill Stein.

But approximately the other 80% of them voted for Hillary Clinton, the Democratic candidate.
