last stop for sanity before reaching the south
Media Matters had absolutely NOTHING to do with the perception by people that Fox News is a partisan network. It's embarrassing that they think that.

"Fox News" is the only entity to blame for the view that it is a wholly partisan network.

Prime time hosts: Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Mike Huckabee, Neil Cavuto

Morning: Fox & Friends

Daytime: Hot 30-45 year old Blondes

The article in question is horseshit.

It claims that Fox personalities are leaving....using Glenn Beck as an example.

Beck only wanted to do one season and move on. Fox talked him into staying longer. Now Glenn Beck has his own internet network and he's become practically invisible. He's been kicked off of radio stations all over the country.

BS, getting Beck kicked off the air was one of MM's biggest accomplishments. His insanity and flat out lies had advertisers running away in droves.

Doesn't help your cause when you lie at the same time you're critical of the lying.

Glenn Beck didn't get kicked off Fox. He left.

Glenn Beck usually ended up in the Hospital around Christmas time every year, stressed out from all of the harassment and slander that was focused on him from the left. He has a better security detail than the President now because of all of the death-threats. Lawyers representing you know who showed up at Fox and tried to get him fired when he was hammering the White House and Obama in particular. Nothing he said about him was untrue.

Now Fox has "The Five" which replaced Beck and is more popular, they have Gretta at 6, O'Reilly at 7, Megan Kelly at 8, and Hannity at 9. The libs can't compete with that. Fox is clobbering the competition. Now Media Matters wants to go after Fox Spanish Language Channel because they aren't making any headway with Fox News. In the process MSNBC is sucking all of the idiot libs from CNN and everyone else, yet still they only have less than a 3rd of Fox's audience.

That is not a victory.

All Media Matters has is lies and hatred. Nothing else.

If their only goal was to demonize Fox to the point that loyal libs will start spitting venom when you mention Fox News, they figure they succeeded.

The fact that they can't compete with Fox doesn't seem to matter.

I routinely watch Fox and Friends and other shows throughout the day.

My only problem is that the constant segments on the failures of ObozoCare and the lies behind it get a bit tiring - especially as, of yet, I haven't been slammed as much as many are and will be.

Of course the Libtards attack anyone who opens the box of lies they spout.

We're just jealous of Obama, and suffering from a case of extreme butt-hurt from the election.

Almost as big as their victory of Rush.

In other news, fleas declare victory over dog.

Fox went from being nothing to being the number 1 network, actually taking enough viewers from hard news CNN that they are changing their format, but Media Matters won.

Media Matters Declares Victory: 'The War On Fox Is Over'
Wars always end when the loser no longer has the means or ability to fight.
Winners don't declare the end of a war. Losers declare the end at the moment they give up. Media Matters can declare victory all they want, but they lost, not FOX.

Let me re-state the first sentence.
Wars always end when the loser no longer has the means or ability or intestinal fortitude to fight.
The US left Viet Nam with the means and ability, but not the intestinal fortitude.

Did The Beck sell you a gold bridge too?

You're both wrong; MediaMatters didn't get Beck fired; Glenn Beck got Beck fired.

This of course completely misreads his own meaning "number 1 network" (by which he can only mean "#1 cable news network", by which he means ratings.

Nobody ever got ratings by being honest or 'fair and balanced'. That's hint #1.

Beck wasn't fired.

Soros media propaganda outlets like Media Matters called it a firing. Beck just didn't renew his contract. As Beck explains it he didn't want to stay as long as did but they talking him into staying.
