There are small clusters of measles every year and death from them is very rare but there are hundreds of deaths and injuries from the vaccines here. Even before there were vaccines deaths were very rare. It is a mild cold with a rash most generally. In third world shit holes where children are vitamin a deficient it may be an issue.
