Any leader with a shred of common sense would have called off his attack as soon as it was clear that the two week takeover of Ukraine was not going to happen. Based on the absurd figure for Russia in the OP , Ukraine and NATO combined have lost between 6 and 8 million .

IN THE REAL WORLD
Russian losses are around 300 000 absolute maximum and Ukeys plus Others at between 1.2 and 1.8 million .

Regardless it has developed into a massacre and Russia's main problem now is coping with the number who surrender.

Will Russia take out Odessa before seriously negotiating or will they also take Kyiv if the Iran scrap provides good deflection/ cover ?
