Opposing Authoritarian Ideological Fundamentalism.
If true, this is the big one. Period.

But, as described to ABC News, Meadows privately told Smith's investigators that -- to this day -- he has yet to see any evidence of fraud that would have kept now-president Joe Biden from the White House, and he told them he agrees with a government assessment at the time that the 2020 presidential election was the most secure election in U.S. history.

Testify to what?

He made phone calls to find uncounted votes? To find election fraud?

Good luck.

Meadows was given immunity for his crimes, so he could testify about what he knows, against Trump without having to plead the 5th to protect himself from prosecution...

Meadows is one of the unindicted co conspirators....in this case that Smith described in his indictment against Trump....there are 6 other unindicted co conspirators in this case, who may also flip....we will see, I suppose?

Immunity is big. He can’t refuse to answer any questions based on self incrimination.

Now he answers all questions truthfully or goes to jail.

Meadows the Chief of Staff to P01135809. He was in the room when plans were being drawn up for the fake electors scheme. His phones calls are part of conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election

His testimony can put P01135809 behind bars.

The Immunity Agreement he signed demands it. If he lies under oath, he goes directly to jail.

I believe meadows will say anything to save his traitorous ass at this point.

Several things strike me reading the ABC article.

The first thing is that it sounds as if ABC doesn't quite believe meadows or if they do they are seeking to protect themselves from something.

Call a lie a lie, don't frame it as if you are afraid of it. example:

The descriptions of what Meadows allegedly told investigators shed further light on the evidence Smith's team has amassed as it prosecutes Trump for allegedly trying to unlawfully retain power and "spread lies" about the 2020 election. The descriptions also expose how far Trump loyalists like Meadows have gone to support and defend Trump.

The second thing is they are essentially promoting his book.

Add that to a healthy does of the standard main stream media bothsiderism and I think they've done a good job of minimizing the importance of these things.

These are not criticisms of the post or the poster, but the linked text.
