You were in Japan and went to McDonald's? Are you mad? If you really needed a burger you could have at least gone to Mos Burger!

I was in the Navy back in the 70s.

We tied up in Yokosuka and we didn't have a guide.....so I walked around and spotted the Golden Arches.

Well, it's not an opinion that cheap hamburger meat comes from places like I described with unnatural, filthy conditions. But maybe by 'opinion' you meant not wanting to eat that crap. haha. So in that case, yeah, we're all entitled to our opinion. But it shouldn't be any wonder why Americans are obese, sick and dying of preventable diseases.

I used to enjoy drinking coffee @ Mcd and watching the TVs they had. I would get into conversations sometimes w/ people next to me. Today, after they removed the TVs, it looks like dine-in is still closed even though it's not bc there are never many people there when I go, which is not often. Don't they realize tht the TV brings in customers? It brought me in and I would buy oatmeal, sometimes a burger (w/o the carb-laden bun) and.. yeh, it was a nice place to eat.

Now I go there at the most once every 5 months and may not go that often anymore because.. For one, the oatmeal cups are always about half full. .. etc... etc Oh, did I mention the time when this manager got on my ass for.. can't even recall what it was, but I guess she may not have liked the conservative conversation I was having with a buddy there? Who knows? She just flipped me BS for no apparent reason.

Carlin, if cows were our betters, and they liked to eat humans, they would be farming us too.
Humans have been doing it for thousands of years. It made us more physically strong and smarter.
However, I do think some practices are horrible.

Vegans get a bad reputation for forcing their beliefs on others like the aformentioned That Vegan Teacher. That is why I can be harsh on vegans sometimes. If it wasn't for those vegans, I wouldn't be like that.

I'm laughing here, because what I said wasn't even really "vegan" stuff, I simply stated facts about the unnatural gross conditions factory farm cows are in. And you're actually claiming that's not true?

Heck, if I wanted to, I could show videos to prove that what I said is factual and true, and anyone who isn't ignorant knows it.

That's not really "vegan" stuff, that's something any smart person would want to avoid, and not even for the sake of the animals, but for their own health. But I find it funny that it was interpreted as a vegan thing, when I didn't even bring up tons of other stuff I could have brought up but intentionally didn't. haha (And won't, since I don't want to go too off topic.)
