If your cousin is that concerned with gunshot victims, maybe she should talk to the National Rampage Association. Chicago had sensible gun laws until they went to court and got them struck down.

Chicago's crime rate is already falling, and the National Guard isn't going to help.

Gunshot victims are a lot less of a pain to take care of than stabbing and burn victims.

The idea is to eliminate crime, not just change the way people commit mayhem.

Even though "sensible gun laws" really don't cut down on the number of gun crimes at all. It may be counterintuitive to you, but gun laws only restrict Law Abiders from being able to defend themselves, and actually embolden armed criminals who don't follow laws anyhow.

I am always amazed by this right-wing obsession with Chicago. Every since Obama won legitimately (unlike Trump) they've been sitting there, mouth agape, reacting a Negro in the White House the way they'd react to a negro dating their daughter.

Chicago only has high numbers because it's such a large city. In terms of crime rates, it's far below murder rates in Red State cities.

The murder rate here in the City of Hermitage is 6.4, significantly lower than Chicago,even though Pennsylvania recognizes the right to bear arms in the Constitution.
