but IMO when there is an event as culturally iconic as Sunday's game is, a quintessentially American event viewed by tens of millions of people, the entertainment headliner should not perform in a foreign language.
Yes, Puerto Rico is an American territory. A terrific place to go for a vacation. However, the native tongue of Puerto Rican's is Spanish. And while the act in question had a very important visual component, most Americans had no idea what was being said. That's ludicrous.
I can't imagine any country having the main entertainment portion of the biggest single day event of the year be performed in a foreign language. Because is was a mistake to do so.
