Mask order from Marine “Timmy”

If you won’t listen to Dr Fauci listen to Supply Specialist Timmy Byrnes.

A. TikTok is a ChiCom trojan horse app

B. My wife suffers from severe claustrophobia and anxiety from any face covering, due to her former step father's repeated abuse when she was a child, but she is otherwise VERY healthy.

C. Why should I give a rat fuck what Supply Specialist Timmy Byrnes says? My mother, we'll call her Lt. Bootniss J. Farnsworth, served in Vietnam as a MASH operating room nurse (and survived the attack on the hospital during Tet). She has over 50 years of experience. She says "tell Specialist Byrnes to shut the fuck up."

Don't argue with Mom!

I didn't realize there was a gathering in Salem (Ore.) of people from all over the state last week protesting Sister Moonbeam's new mask edicts.
Hundreds at the capital and not a one wearing a mask throwing her orders right back in her face.

Maybe I should rethink my anti Oregon stance.

That's what the mask fetishists say. Let's just be charitable to bossy little authoritarian Karens like you and say the science is not settled on the matter and Dr. Fauci and other members of the American public health junta
have said various things about masks at various times.

Yes, you always should wear them. No, it doesn't matter, etc.

One thing for sure is a lot of the masks we see out there are sub-standard and so porous people might as well not wear masks at all except that it pleases mask
fetishists to see something on other people's faces no matter what it is.

So it doesn't matter if the damned things make any difference at all.
The main thing is just showing you are displaying to the rest of the herd you are bowing to their societal pressure and falling into line, which is what a Karen really likes most...the power of making others obey and conform.

Nobody should be required to wear a mask. People climb high cliffs. They jump out of perfectly good airplanes. They snowboard and snow ski. Free people assess their own risks, their own tolerance to risk, and do the things they want to do and for their own reasons.

If you don't want to get the China virus when you're out, wear a mask. If you don't think wearing a mask reliably protects you and you're afraid others aren't wearing masks, stay home. If you are afraid of heights, don't climb mountains, jump out of airplanes, or snow ski but don't ban the rest of the world from doing those things.

My wife has a tracheostomy because her vocal cords are paralyzed closed - she breathes through a 6mm straw in her neck. Of course a face mask does nothing for her; she needs a mask that covers her neck as well. But any obstruction of the little straw she breathes through reduces her oxygen levels. The risk of her getting the virus is high because she doesn't have the filters we all have. Her risk of a bad outcome is higher as well. So she doesn't go out except when necessary; she doesn't ask everyone else to stay home so she can go out.

We went to our granddaughter's wedding recently. There were about 100 people there. The wedding was originally scheduled for early April and put off because of the China virus. I don't blame them for finally going ahead.

It was an outdoor wedding at a state park. They made arrangements with the park to have the service road gate to the pavilion unlocked so I could drive all the way up to the pavilion, off to one side so we could see without poisoning the rest of the audience with CO2. We stayed in the truck and saw and heard the whole thing. Funny thing, no one else wore masks. Elderly family and friends and all, not a mask between them.

Since we hadn't seen our grandkids for many months, and my NYU grad Antifa-member granddaughter for a few years, we did succumb to hugs. I passed out masks before anyone got closer than 6 feet. It was just too much to ask to not hug them. I hope we don't end up sick but we knowingly and freely took the risk. That's what free people get to do.
