Then there is the matter of Article 32 investigation Officer appointments, scheduling at the convening authority, selection and appointment of Defense counsel, preparation time, and that is just to get to the article 32 investigation sessions to determine charges, if any, for stating military regulations. Then there is the written report and recommendations, and that is even before courts-martial trial (if warranted) can be scheduled, set up and convened. Most likely outcome is in this case is lots of publicity, while he draws a chunk of change with free legal representation.
