Mike Johnson is calling her personally to bring her back to the Republican fold:

"Majorie doesn't serve on the committees of juristiction . . . "
No kidding.
Just a few years ago, the hideous Debbie Wasserman Schultz got her kicked off of all committees and the Repubs stood by letting it happen. Now, she's being catered to by both sides.
She has Democrats and "not Democrats" in the media and on this forum adoring her as the savior of the working class caught between the Twoparties internal power struggle.
This at a time in which Republicans in the House are doing nothing except letting Mike Johson repeat himself. MTG is big news for differing with them at all, and she knows it.
She's taken a step back right now. Wait until Democrats start crying in November about open enrollment and the higher costs of premiums. It won't be as bad as the Dems are predicting, which is why they are so desparate to get a commitment to continue the COVID subsidies now. They are trying to scare people about three thousand dollar per month premiums.
In fact, the increases will be far less than that. Insurance companies can only raise premiums to as much as people can pay. They're not going to go out of business because they didn't get the extra subsidies for COVID.
People will say, "only a hundred and ten more? I think it already went up that much last year."
All MTG has to do is say "it's not as bad as Dems said it would be. They lied to me and to my hard-working constituents." She'll be the hero of Republicans and the Dems on here will look like complete idiots that they fell for it.
