Technology works on certain suppositions. They will attempt to add another layer of detection to make it a better system. I went to a government mini expo thing many many moons ago and talked to one of the facial recognition company's guys. He said truth be told, if we told the system to alert us when a set of known people walked through the gates, it was pretty good but if they told it to identify everybody or even just every criminal who came through the gates, the system sucked because there were too many faces and too much data to sort through to be able to do in real time.
