That's the obvious conclusion but the author is gaslighting readers. Strange that just about all media don't have a problem blaming inanimate object responsible but refused to name the common denominator and their lack of civility no matter where this behavior takes place in the country. I wonder how many serial killers in prison now drove GM, Toyota, or Ford so we can blame these companies for encouraging future serial killers or copycats.

The vehicles involved — Dodge Chargers — keep appearing in street takeover incidents across multiple cities. The Charger's combination of power, rear-wheel drive, and affordability in the used market has made it a disproportionately common vehicle in these events. Dodge itself doesn't bear responsibility for how buyers choose to use their vehicles, but the association has become unavoidable enough that it generates regular commentary.
