Trump is responsible for little dips on news that doesn't come to fruition if he says something bombastic but doesnt follow through, delays etc.

The sooner he makes a decision the sooner manufacturers and businesses will know where to invest. Japanese companies and auto companies seem convinced that he will hit the auto market with tariffs. Do they know something others don't?

If they cut money from DOGE, decrease government and bring in money from tariffs, he can balance the budget finally as Clinton did.

Yes, he has an ego and is a narcissist, but even there he has calmed down some. Name me a billionaire who doesn't have extreme confidence. I think his biggest flaw, which can also be a boon if harnessed properly; is that he is impatient. I truly understand that trait because when I was in sales I was in my flow as the harder I worked, the more I made. It was a perfect correlation coupled with knowledge and a business challenge solving mind, rather than just a technical approach (as it was high tech equipment)

Hence, he doesn't like to slow down because he feels it is wasting time and money. He's right of course, it is a condition of his decades in business. He isn't going to change now.

This is why I am confused about him elongating the tariff decisions, his intentional obfuscation is not the right approach this early in his second term. That's just my humble opinion anyways.

This is because he keeps playing games such as "I'm going to hit you with a tariff! (maybe...possibly...likely in 45 days or so....or...maybe not...).

He has to make a decision and that's it so that industries can either expand in Mexico or in America.

Look at it like this:
You have a car, and you want to sell it. You want to get top price for it. You ask for 50,000 dollars.
A buyer likes your car and is hoping to make a deal. He offers you 45,000. You counter with 48,000. His says, "Will you take 47,500."? You say, "It's a deal".

Trump didn't want to go to war to take back the Panama Canal. He led with that. What he wanted was the Chinese out and America given priority, which was an important clause to the transfer of the canal to begin with. That is what he walked away with.

Trump isn't interested in annexing Canada. He led with that. He wants the northern border secured and the fentanyl to stop coming over the border, and a reciprocal tariff agreement. No tariffs between us, or the same tariffs for both. Either means he has won what he was after. Fair trade.

He knows what he is doing. He's getting results. Industries can do want ever they want. They are looking for the best deal. We'll see how it goes...

But the new polling does highlight perhaps the most significant emerging problem for Trump: the economy. While this has long been his strength, that no longer appears to be the case.

The Post-Ipsos poll shows Americans disapprove of his handling of the economy 53 to 45. Those are his worst economic numbers since 2017.

The Reuters poll shows his economic approval at 39 percent, which is lower than it ever was in his first term.

In the CNN poll, 62 percent say Trump hasn’t gone far enough in trying to reduce the price of everyday goods. Perhaps most strikingly, even a majority of Republican-leaning voters (51 percent) say this.

The Reuters poll shows just 32 percent approve of his handling of inflation — lower than his handling of the economy.
