The MSM did their best to hide what millions of us were seeing. Had they came out aggressively a year before the election, and pressured him more, the Dims could have had the time to run a legitimate primary, and who knows what the end result may have been.

Yes, they probably should have done this.

But how do you tell a guy who has given a lifetime of service to the country and the party that he's too old now, and we want someone younger? That's just cruel.

The problem was we all hoped he would pull through at least until the election, because the alternative (Trump doing pretty much what he's doing now) was far worse.
