Man who attacked Nancy Pelosi's husband gets life in prison

Before anybody fights anyone you must obtain their political affiliation first as it will greatly and gravely effect the outcome of any legal proceedings

He killed someone and almost immediately let go.

Now compare that with the Pelosi incident. No one died and he gets life in jail.

Both assailants seem to have been out of their minds.
You want to compare apples to oranges. Is DePape's sentence outside the sentencing guidelines?

Nonsense. Find the money to hire a competent legal team. That's the only thing that makes a difference.

Although no one died, and everyone recovered, the man who broke into Nancy Pelosi's home and attacked her husband gets life in prison.

When given the chance to address the court prior to his sentencing, DePape, dressed in prison orange and with his brown hair in a ponytail, spoke at length about Sept. 11 being an inside job, his ex-wife being replaced by a body double, and his government-provided attorneys conspiring against him.

“I’m a psychic,” DePape told the court, reading from sheets of paper. “The more I meditate, the more psychic I get.”

He sounds crazier than a loon, but no sympathy will be given the mentally ill man because he attacked one of the most powerful democrats in the country

Let that be a lesson to the rest of ya.

This guy didn't break in. He was let in. He was Paul Pelosi's 900th different gay coke whore.

Who made Paul Pelosi above the law?

Kamala did

Everybody recovered?

A jury found DePape guilty in June of false imprisonment of an elder by violence or menace, residential burglary, threatening a family member of a public official, dissuading a witness by force or threat and aggravated kidnapping.

The Pelosi family said in a statement Tuesday that the sentencing in the state case gives Paul Pelosi "some measure of legal justice, and, we hope, a message to others that political violence against elected officials or their family members will not be tolerated, minimized or condoned."

In a letter to San Francisco County Judge Harry Dorfman released by the Pelosi family, Paul Pelosi detailed how the attack affected him and his family while requesting that DePape receive the maximum sentence possible. He said he has continued physical and mental impacts -- including trouble balancing and headaches nearly every day -- and that his family was "traumatized" by the attack.

Imagine that Mr. Pelosi was your dad. Now STFU.

Ok, now compare that to being shot dead.

Not really a comparison, is it?

You correctly mentioned why he got such a sentence though. It was to protect the political elite from future attacks.

Paul Pelosi is gay, and does coke with whores and little boys...

that time the kid and the coke were "vanished" but too many saw Paul pulled over to let her off.

Paul has been busted dozens of times and almost never punished. Kamala let Paul off repeatedly.

If you are a gay purchasing a little boy whore and you intend to do coke with that little boy, you are above the law in KamalaLAND if you are Dykey Nancy's faux "husband."

If the jury thought it was appropriate to try to ensure public officials aren't attacked, Repub or Dem, it's a good thing..............nitwit.

Merrick Garland says the sentence is a WARNING to anybody contemplating political violence.

Like I said, they protect the political elite but could care less about the average citizen

Thanks for proving my point.

Tell me why we should tolerate political violence?

15th post
Like I said, they
By they you must mean the jury.

Then again, perhaps you'd prefer members of trump's mob to indiscriminately attack Dems so as to intimidate them. Like trump is doing by threatening to jail reporters who write articles critical of him. Or locking up Schiff and Pelosi for their courage in calling out trump for the traitor he is.

I never suggested they should

I would just like them to show that they value average Americans as much as they do the corrupt political elites in DC like the queen of insider trading, Nancy Pelosi.

In fact, I will give another example. The women shot dead at the Capital on January 6th. The woman was unarmed and the policeman that shot her was instantly crowned a hero by the media and the politicians. No investigation was ordered and his name was kept from the public as to protect him and his family.

But that is not what happens for the average US citizen, is it? People can raid a CVS, for example, and if a policeman so much shoots someone of a different race then the media plasters the name of the officer all over the media as his family gets death threat after death threat and they are investigated for months, sometimes without pay as they are charged with being a racist monster.

You don't think because public officials have a much higher profile than average citizens they deserve to have their safety emphasized?

Are you saying that equal protection under the law is not attainable?

Really?

Why?
