Imagine the liability for Pinkerton. Holy shit.
This has been an interest story unfolding on the board from the word go. First speculation about the shooter, being reported as part of Antifa with two people arrested and the crowd went wild! Then reported on here he was not only an Antifa member but associated with BLM, soup people, and the crowd went wild over his arrest, saying it was a twofer, Antifa and BLM. It was sickly hilarious reading the gleeful "we told you so" self validation on the right.
Now we find out the other guy arrested was the KUSA-TV channel 9 segment producer, arrested and released. I wonder what kind of day he is having. Now we start down liability road. Well, shooter is charged, pretty sure his liability will be sorted out. Pinkerton security contractor hired by the station to provide security for the crew covering the dueling protest? There will be consequences as the dead guy with the can of Bear Spray is still dead. I don't know about Pinkerton, or if the station contracted with Pinkerton or just hired the guy, whose full time job may have been with Pinkerton. The producer was onsite when and where it occurred and would be considered representing the station and probably supervising the crew, which would include contracted security guy. Yeah, I bet KUSA-TV 9 segment producer, station management, and station attorneys are having a real interesting day.
All this, because two opposing social/political groups decided to hold competing demonstrations in one place on the same day and now somebody is dead. I wonder is John Tiegman, organizer of the militia Muster, quoted Friday saying something to the effect of "We are not coming to commit violence, but we are coming prepared for violence if necessary". Well, it does not look like John "Tieg" Tiegman was prepared, as it appears to be one of his people is dead and not by the guy with the Black Guns Matter T-shirt, not charged. Does not look like prepared for violence to me. Organizer John Tiegman, known for surviving Benghazi, where he was part of security, survived again, clean.
