His statements, while unacceptable, were rhetoric — not plans — and he never took any step to harm anyone.
He cooperated immediately, consented to searches and admitted his conduct.
This reminds me of how Team Trump tried to charge a guy with assault just for throwing a sub sandwich at ICE agents. Of course the guy was found NOT GUILTY.

Many of the people who threatened the lives of the brave election officials who stood up against Trump's attempted coup also went to jail.
These scumbags even threatened their wives and children.
The violent threats on both sides needs to end.

Two years may not sound like much, but they could very well end up being the longest two years that the guy has ever gone through. In other words, I don't see things being all that grand for him during those two years. Anything could happen with him while his sentence is being served. Prison is not supposed to be like another day at the swimming pool.

This was a person who confronted police.
Still 2 years is good. Hell Trump might pardon the nut. He pardoned a lot of people who did a lot more than just threaten.
