The question from my previous message was never answered. Unless the kids were kidnapped, who in their right mind would give their kids clearance to stay at the home of their bus driver??? That is where the kids were found. I was never that close to any of my bus drivers.

In other words, if the driver had never been a problem earlier in their life, people who hire other people can never know that who they hire is going to be an issue in any way until they do become an issue. Parents on the other hand have a responsibility to the safety of what belongs to them: their kids, which means that the people in charge of who is given a job at a school can only be blamed so much should the brain train of the hired help go jumping the track at any time.

Leetwain Darrell Tate — a 48-year-old a male also known as just “Sharon” — was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of statutory rape and six counts of indecent liberties with a minor, according to Charlotte-Mecklenberg police.

He is accused of assaulting at least four boys age 14 and 15 years old, but officials said there could be more victims.


The children were found to be staying at his house, and one of them claimed Tate offered him money in return for sex, an arrest affidavit obtained by WCNC read.


Tate drove school buses for the Sugar Creek Charter School in Charlotte, but was suspended during the weeks-long investigation and then fired on Sept. 30, WCCB reported."
