Though I absolutely hate his politics on most other issues (he's a warmer nut), this is the one place where he can really clean house and I agree with him 100%.

I am not making any predictions. My take is that the gov't's only position is to make sure there are no harmful chemicals put in our food. Pure food. That being said, I don't want the gov't telling me what I CAN eat or drink or HOW MUCH. The food that is available should be pure. Beyond that, I will make the decision. If I want to eat nothing but Mickey D's and kill myself, that is my prerogative, the gov't shouldn't have any say. If RFK is on board with that, I'm all for him.

The food problem is much older than RFK...
Doesn't matter what else he said or didn't say the reality of our food quality is inescapable. Of course purifying the food will mean higher prices at least up front..... That might be enough to stop it from happening.

Seed Oil - No evidence they are unhealthy and plenty of evidence it is healthy.

The only item you MIGHT have a point on is corn syrup replacing cane sugar. NEITHER is particularly good for you in high quantities (Mrs. B131 is trying to get me to cut down my sugar intake).
