Anyone remember the 2007 Tea Party? A movement to stop the wars, stop all the excess spending, to make government smaller and more transparent. It was a good movement. That is, until those same type of republicans we opposed, infiltrated it and turned into the very opposite of what it started off as.
Within a year or 2, the big government Republicans had successfully co-opted the Tea Party. Changing the dynamics to be more "party loyalist." More pro war. Not concerned with the excessive borrowing and spending.
Basically destroying it from the inside out.

Trump loyalist are doing the same exact thing to MAGA. And for the same exact reasons. MAGA wanted almost the same exact thing as the 2007 Tea Party. Massive spending cuts. We wanted to stay out of foreign affairs. Stop funding foreign countries, including Israel. We wanted the Epstein files released.

Trump has massively increased spending. He's bombed 7 countries in 1 year. He had to be forced to release them. And still hasn't release 1/2 of them. And suspects names are still redacted. He ended DOGE.

It's been said that MAGA is just as strong today as it was in it's first year. And maybe they're right. Maybe that loyalty is rock solid. But I just think that the real MAGA people just aren't saying much about their disappointment.
It's a fact that if anyone in MAGA speaks out against Trump, the loyalist in MAGA will attack them. So it's just easier to not say anything and avoid fighting.

None the less, what happened to the 2007 Tea Party is happening to MAGA. And it'll end up exactly the same way. Dead and gone because the loyalist were louder. More obnoxious. More violent (even in their speech).

I'm still MAGA. But I oppose 75% of what Trump and his congressional Republicans are doing.

You helped to destroy common folk to have power.

MAGA is a leftist movement now.
Socialism everywhere. Huge deficits. Loads of debt. War. And now we can add covering for pedophiles to the list.

Everything I said is fact. You are just one of the boot lickers.

Everything you said is opinion, and the opinion of someone who would rather lose the right way than win the wrong way, or demands perfection of their own side while letting the other play as dirty as they want.

Everything stated in the OP is factual. And it's the same thing that's going on right now with MAGA.
You loyalist just don't want anyone to see it. Y'all want to give all the praises of the MAGA to Trump.

Trump may have started the movement. (as a campaign slogan) But it was under false pretenses. And some of us want to hold Trump accountable for doing the opposite of what MAGA stands for.

You know the loyalism runs deep when they have to defend Trumps spending, his socialism, his bombings... And all those things MAGA didn't expect from Trump.

Trump is more important to them than actually making American great again. If Trump can't do it, they don't want anyone to do it.

I got the same kind of demonizing and childish insults that you're doing now, from the neocons, when I pointed out how the Tea Party was changing in 2009.

What you are getting is being called out for demanding we only fight in a way where we lose like good sports.

You are either a lefty wearing the skinsuit of a "conservative" or one of those Bullwark types that were happy losing to the left over and over while pretending to fight.

Both the Tea Party and MAGA had perfectly reasonable concerns, grievances and wishes. But whatever in the world made them sell their soul to such an obviously damaged huckster is just a goddamn mystery.

If (a big "if") current trends hold and the Dems make a big comeback, if we end up swinging wildly back to the hard Left after this, it will be the fault of the MAGA people in Congress and at the ballot box who enabled what is happening.

We will be responsible for YOUR party going hard left?

You are just mad we went from being happy predictable losers to people who actually fight.

That's one of the most ignorant things I've heard you Trump loyalist say all day.

"You're either this or that." <<< That's retarded. There's nothing 2 sided about politics, unless you're a loyalist.

FFS, you have Trump loyalist. You have centrist. There are fiscal conservatives. There are RINOs. there's several different sides in just the GOP.

Fact: You loyalist cry about Massie more than you do the democrats. And he votes with the GOP 91% of the time.

Y'all are the reason why the democrats will gain the majority.
You're take over of the Tea Party is why Obama won.
