The issue is that prices would have risen if trump had won in 2020 just like they did under Biden. The inflation was a result of Covid. Mainly the money that had to be injected into the economy to keep it afloat during the pandemic.

Personally I don't think biden did very well at battling the inflation. But then again, he never claimed that he could fix the entire economy within weeks.

But Trump ran in 2024, on the platform of ending the inflation and bringing prices back down to pre-covid levels, going as far as claiming that prices would go back down within weeks of hs innaugeration. But now that he won, he's completely reversed his position and claims that inflation isn't important and his supporters seem to be completely fine with it.

The money paid off special interests. Expecting some inflation, perhaps. Not this. They did not address it. Mocking citizens everyday with lies.
