Coincidence?

" What became his signature song, 1970’s “I Believe in Music,” was also recorded as the first Capitol Records single for Helen Reddy, who died the same day as Davis, Sept. 29, also at age 78."

Helen Reddy covered Mac Davis' I Believe in Music on her 1971 debut album.

They died hours apart, both 78...

Baby, Don't Get Hooked On Me...
Who else could get away with the line...
Girl, you're a warm bloodied woman child...

What the hell is a "warm bloodied woman child"?!

Yeah. I just read the same thing. Davis and Reddy on the same day. Pretty freaky coincidence. Both were great singers and had some great hits.

What did Helen Reddy say whenMac David showed up in heaven and said, “Hey”!?
“Leave Me Alone”!

RIP Mac Davis and RIP Helen Reddy ( I didn't know she is gone too)
