Hate to burn your strong independent bridge but women's studies and African American history are stupid majors. And to go into debt to get those degrees is also stupid.

You don't need a degree to start a business.

And unless you own your own business you will always be oppressed.

Even if you own your own business the government will try as hard as it can to break you.

Not just them, but for strong, independent womyn like myself who are hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt for a degree that does offer plenty of job prospects (Womyn's Studies major, African-American History minor), but simply will not allow me to pay off the entirety of the loan in a reasonable amount of time.

The best argument for a Liz Warren candidacy is that Hillary is too chummy with the Banks and Wall Street. She might have the right view on social issues and will no doubt appoint the right kinds of people to the courts, but she will also send the signal that it's "business as usual" for the 1%.

Given that the GOP is so busy alienating women and minorities to have any chance in 2016, the Democrats might want to go with what they want instead of what will be easy.

I recongize who my enemies are. My enemy is not the Hispanic Lesbian chick who works in the same plant I work in or the Asian chick who works in the next cubicle or the black dude who works on the shipping dock. Because at the end of the day, they are in the same boat I'm in - trying to just pay the bills and take care of their own while the 1% who own half of everything try to take a little bit more from us. Maybe having to work a second job to make ends meet.

You see, people of all races built this country. But only a few are really benefiting, and the GOP has gotten over by convincing people like most of my relatives that that shiftless minority wants half their cookie after they gobbled down the other 10.

They whole playing on racial, religious and sexual anxiety got a lot of White People to vote against their own economic interests. Shit, I did it FOR YEARS.

The wakeup call for me came in 2008, when after three years of fighting with my insurance company and my employer over medical treatment, they found a way to get me off the payroll.
