The residential deer have figured out that there are benefits to befriending humans. Ole Joe is shocked to turn around to see a White-Tailed doe wanting to get to know him, which happens in a matter of just seconds. I can see a herd forming around ole Joe & wife/family for sure. When ole Joe & family get introduced to the fawns it will form a lasting bond that endures until the grave & hopefully beyond!

Does set up woman(deer are smart!) with a strategically placed fawn that she can't visually miss. Gal is INSTANTLY addicted to the fawn & momma, meaning the does & fawns have not only a "safe spot" but guaranteed feed/food & water. The deer/human connection is for sure growing in number. Notice how wary the does are towards the woman.

If a wild doe comes up to you looking for a relationship with you & you are in doubt about it you won't be when she comes back with a fawn or two to share with you!!!

We have a residents private 4.5 acre garden but only get rats and squirrels as obvious visitors .
The rats will come within a couple of feet if food is involved ! Squirrels are more trusting if you persevere and
I am constantly surprised at how tame some of the young ones are .
Not as pally as those deer but the best on offer here , in the middle of a 250 000 City .
