This is how Trump won. He got a lot of people who don't usually vote to show up and vote for him. Before Trump we would all agree that they are not good citizens because they don't participate in our democracy.

He didn't win the majority of any group under the age of 50. But he won over ENOUGH of every group to win. Enough blacks, women, Hispanics, Asians, Jews, gays, etc. And a lot of these people were LOW PROPENSITY voters.

And I believe these people once engaged, will stay engaged.

Why are you Republicans defensive about this? My brother tried to argue with me over this last night too. Why is this a negative? Other than the fact they are idiots.

I think it's great that a politician can get people interested in voting. I'm just sad it's a con man like Trump who did it. But ultimately, yes, I like it that more people are voting. Even if that means Trump wins. Because when he let's them down, they'll show up for Democrats. They'll come back.

What Republicans will try to do is get them to go back to not voting. They'll say, "yea we suck, but Democrats are JUST AS BAD". That's always what Republicans say. Never they are bad. Both sides is the best you'll get out of them.
