Posting on the X platform, the paper’s owner, Patrick Soon-Shiong, said he was proud to have posted a letter opposing attacks on white women for voting for Donald Trump and that the paper would be undergoing some major changes moving forward:​

Proud that we posted this letter from one of our readers on X. When the President has won the vote of the majority of Americans then ALL voices must be heard. Opinions are just that.

I will work towards making our paper and media fair and balanced so that all voices are heard and we can respectfully exchange every American’s view ..from left to right to the center. Coming soon. A new Editorial Board. Trust in media is critical for a strong democracy.

This simply did not happen. The owner promised a new board in a tweet....he has not, to date, fired anyone.
An extensive web crawl reveals no such firing took place.. One, count them, one member of the editorial board resigned on Oct. 24th after the LA Times decided not to endorse Harris.
That's all.

One of the dumbest things traditional media outlets did is let the Left take them over. I’d be saying the same thing if Conservatives had taken them over as well. If a media outlet truly seeks views from both sides and does not sit on or ignore stories, then the outlet is going to be successful.

It will be interesting to see if the LA Times is successful in pulling itself Center.
