After asking about a bill I expected for some lab work I had done in early June, the cashier checked my account and said I didnāt owe anything. I then told her I havenāt paid anything towards this years deductible and jokingly suggested we not dig any further.
She then dug a little further and said itās all been paid. I couldnāt help smiling when she said āIām not going to dig any furtherā. lol
It reminded of the time I called my insurance company after flying to Florida. Not only did they find me a doctor within a mile of where I was staying, they made the appointment and confirmed it with me.
After meeting with the doctor, and answering questions about where I work and what I do, he said theyāve never had an insurance company make an appointment and wave the copayment.
I felt kinda special.
