Ah, good poster Flops, life ain't an old country song.
It's more complicated. Trust me.
"Your Man" allegory is silly. But hell, we can play at your silly-isms.
(first, before we start....let's be clear neither me or my avatar have a "man we stand by.)
Still, let's play with Flop's fantasy.
It's your fantasy, of changing men by standing by them.
If me or my avatar were scanning for a "man".....well, we'd likely swipe right for those who aren't serial adulterers (3 wives were victimized with one noted philanderer). We'd swipe left if "our man" was grabbing strange women by the genitals. So too if 'our man' digitally raped a woman in a department store.
Neither of which anyone we might be talking about actually did.
Yeah, we'd probably look for another man.
But if that's your type of fella, poster Flops....well, good luck, relationships are hard. Stay strong.
Sadly, for many of your generation of women, the "ideal man" is no man at all. It's government-as-husband.
Unlike men (today's sorry-ass "men," I mean), government will pay for your kids, never hit you, never insult your mother, and keep a roof over your head for life. All you must do is swear your allegiance and dependence on it.
There was a time when women were able to see to it that the majority of men did the same. Guess what women did to get most men to do that?
Try to guess before you read the spoiler.
They insisted, and accepted nothing less. Amazing huh? But, that was all it took. You modern women have sold yourself very, very short these last few decades. You know why you did that?
Again, guess first, then read the spoiler.
You did it because ladies clubs filled with angry, man-hating lesbians told you that being dependant on a man was tantamount to slavery, so you forgot that they were equally, if not more, dependent on you.
You lost something very valuable by accepting such nonsense. Lost it and threw it away for your daughters and granddaughters.
Good Job.
