Looking to adopt a liberal or progressive dog... recommendations?

I’m looking to get a dog to take hiking but I don’t want one of those conservative dogs. Any recommendation for a liberal or progressive dog breed that can hit the mountains with me?

Here are some choices but I’m unsure of their political leanings.

History:

When primitive humans migrated across the Bering land bridge from Asia into North America, they brought with them a primitive form of dog that were domesticated from Asian wolves thousands of years earlier. These free-ranging dogs were named Carolina Dogs by Dr. I. Lehr Brisbin, who initially made contact with the breed in the Southeast.

Some advice

I was going to say that all dogs are pretty much liberals, they lay around expecting hand outs, they'll **** just about anything, they even lick their own junk.

The only thing not liberal about some breeds is that they stay loyal as long as you take decent care of them and are obedient.

You probably need a pit bull. Give it a kick every now and then.

I'd call that cruelty to animals.

Besides, I'm sure the odor of the obozo freak show hasn't quite dissipated, and that would probably be bad for an animal with a keen sense of smell. Although a bunch of dog shit might mask the odor and be more pleasant.

I think you should be able to find a dog that will tuck tale and cower and maybe even pee on the floor among any of the breeds out there. Some breeds are big droolers too, especially blood hounds, English bull dogs and such. The droolers are also usually kinda dumb. Stay away from border collies though because they're way too smart.

It's the exposure to the NY Times I object to, that and the lingering stench of the Former (and only) First Wookie. I can't imagine they've managed to get all of it's fur out of the carpet even 3 years later.

Right wing dogs tend to be smart, good looking, family oriented and useful. Examples include the classic working breeds such as the German shepherd, the border collie, the Rottweiler and the Labrador retriever.

Border collies and German shepherds are particularly useful for herding small children and keeping an extra set of eyes on them. German shepherds and Rottweilers make great watchdogs. And of course any retriever is great for hunting.

On the other hand, leftist dogs tend to be stupid, ugly, completely useless and yap incessantly for no apparent reason. Examples include the pug, the Mexican hairless, the Pekingese, the English bulldog and any breed prefixed with the word 'toy'.

And any dog that sleeps in and/or eats their own feces gets progressive brownie points.
