Long Term Unemployed Surges to Post-Pandemic High

Name/link us to one thing I ever made up.
Sure look below.
You must have been in the business of buying up all of the closed and failed businesses under Joe Biden.
Every single year Biden’s bankruptcies were fewer than every single year of Trump’s. Even before the pandemic.

You self owned yourself in the same post. You lie about things because you are either dishonest, not curious or dumb. Which is it?

Sure look below.

You idiot, businesses are still closing or struggling to recover after the three years of Biden and the Democrats national shut down and lockout. Now, the whole Rite Aid chain has just folded. A whole generation of children may never grow up normal.

My neighbors kid is a dance major grad from a top tier university. She makes very little money dancing (for shows) and supplements it with yoga instructing which pays well for the types of places she teaches in. Her goal is to pursue her dream to dance and if it doesnt happen for her before she ages out of it she'll fall back on her liberal arts degree which she got a 3.8 in for a 9-5 job.

I respect that drive.
So with a Lib Arts degree her backup plan is barista.

Look at the chart

You can't B.S. the math.

Bankruptcies under Trump's first three (pre-covid) years were 50% bigger than under Biden.

Why did it take two freaking CBS "reporters" and an editor to come up with this TDS rant? It's no secret that Biden/Fauci cancelled the employment of tens of thousands of American citizens but typical of the left wing media they use a victim of Biden/Fauci to make a case about Trump because she can't find an equivlent job. It's an other sad example of the left wing's TDS agenda and the left wing buys it

Look at the chart

So, what you're saying is that bankruptcies peaked under Barry Obumma, but democrats had everyone too shut down out of business during covid to even do enough business to know they were bankrupt, but now that Joe is gone, the damage he did is still catching up to us. Now, Rite Aid has folded too.

Sad.

Biden didn't cancel any employment.

Except for for DJT.

Are you blind?

Bankruptcies peaked under George W. Bush.

Bankruptcies peaked under George W. Bush.

Well, that's only a year in from the start of the graph then dropped near their lowest in 2006 under the same president so hard to assign a trend nor reason, but if you look at the blue totals in every column, they peaked in 2009-2020 while Obumma was reinventing socialist healthcare.

Grim news regardless of your party preference. Employment is the temperature gauge of the nation’s economy. The number of unemployed people looking for work more than six months has surged to its highest level since the pandemic. Basically these are people put out of work during Trump’s first few months and still are not employed.

Nice job Trump.

As of August, the number of long-term unemployed people had risen to 1.9 million, according to government data — the highest level since 2021, when the nation was still reeling from the pandemic.

With the job market faltering in recent months as employers put the brakes on hiring, more workers are being sidelined for months on end, economists told CBS News.

"We're continuing to see this low-hire, low-fire environment," said Laura Ullrich, Indeed's director of economic research for North America and a former official at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. "There aren't really new jobs being opened up for people — there isn't room for new people to come in."

A CBS News poll released Thursday captures the dimming view many Americans have of the labor market, with 33% of respondents describing it as "good," down from 41% in April. What's more, 48% said they think there are fewer good jobs where they live compared to five years ago.
Maybe they've all got "Long COVID."

Business closings were record lows under Biden, lower than Trump’s first term. Even after 4 years of Biden they were record lows nitwit. Admit you had no idea and make shit up. I would never hire you. Your work isn’t trustworthy.

Business closings were record lows under Biden,
Of course, idiot, the entire country was already shut down or closed! Once Covid passed by '22 or '23, people were busy just trying to reopen, fool!

Even after 4 years of Biden they were record lows nitwit.
Joe Biden had already wiped out the most vulnerable. I know in my own experience it was nearly impossible for several years from 2020 to maybe 2023 to hardly do any business with anyone, I couldn't get furniture delivered, I could not even often get food (take out) delivered. One pizza store near me is only now just getting back to normal.

I would never hire you. Your work isn’t trustworthy.
You could never hire me much less critique my work. I only do highly skilled work for reputable companies way over your head. You need to look to Craigs List La Rasa for your future employment opportunities.

Companies made record profits in 22-24. The country was opened shortly after Biden took office. Not sure who you think you are gaslighting.

I definitely would NOT hire you. You don’t even have the sense to look up corporate profits and bankruptcies before you post. Your work is shoddy. There is no way you do anything more complex than asking ā€œdo you want fries with thatā€.

Record profits under Biden. Companies did not struggle. The economy was great and more actually got to the lowest wage earners than ever before. The lowest wages saw income significantly outpace cost increases. Sadly it barely made a dent in the losses the working class lost before Biden and that Trump is stealing from them now.

Plenty of work on long island...plenty

Plenty of work on long island...plenty
Forgive me if i use professionally collected data for millions of people over your observation that the drive thru near you say ā€œhiringā€. But thanks for the tip.

I notice you didn't deny that long island had plenty of work, wanna give it a shot?
You provided nothing but an opinion. It’s up to you to support. What does ā€œplenty of workā€ actually even mean? It’s an unmeasurable statement that is also meaningless regarding the broad health of the economy.

Do me a favor, link me to a recent informative post of yours. I’d like to think that this was just a one off and you post better normally.
