Local counter-sniper team was inside building where Trump shooter climbed on the roof and opened fire: sources

Sniper with longest confirmed kill claims Trump near-assassination was an 'inside' job, but Glenn and panel have questions

Dallas Alexander is a veteran Canadian special forces sniper who’s worked VIP protection at the highest levels and who happens to hold the world record for the longest-range confirmed sniper kill. According to him, Trump’s would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, had help from the inside.

Today, he joins Glenn Beck to explain his theory.
....
“You don’t believe that this was just incompetence on the Secret Service's side?” Glenn asks.

“I did that job for a long time — close protection and protecting VIPs, up to and including our prime minister in Canada,” he says. “I’ve seen the videos ... There were too many [policemen and Secret Service agents] to not have the most obvious position covered.”

“Children who play Call of Duty or go to paintball would know that that roof is the most important position and that that building is one of the most important buildings to secure,” he tells Glenn, adding that the notion that the Secret Service was simply incompetent is “impossible.”

“What do you think would’ve happened?” Glenn asks.

“This isn’t me pointing a finger at anyone in particular or a party or an agency, but someone within the ‘inside’ had to have helped with this,” he says. “You can’t walk through layers of security like that and then climb up a ladder to the most obvious shooting position and then take a shot at the former president.”

“There had to be someone that helped with that,” Dallas reiterates.

Glenn then brings up the reports that the shooter was located at “an adjacent property” and “didn’t have to go through security.”

To that, Dallas says that from the footage he saw, the “two most obvious” structures that demanded security were “that building and the water tower in the background,” insinuating that there’s no way that the building where Crooks was stationed was outside what would be considered the danger zone.

the same government that let trump down, An administration that failed in their duties to protect a former president; that same government wants to put him in jail....amazing

These are the same people that allowed US Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three others to die in Libya and got away with it.

You're saying Hillary had a hand in this?

Why don't you folks at least get your basic facts right, like how far away the shooter was?
I believe the confusion is because some talk of the distance in meters and others talk of the distance in yards.

I've heard 130 meters and 140 yards both used. 130 meters is a bit better than 142 yards.....I think.

And what would “exact” distance do for you you dumb OX? ~400’. Divide by 3 to get yards. 1m is about 10% more than 1yd. ~39” to 36” ratio.
SHUP stupid commee POS.

Our secret service director....

Yep on MSNBC in a one on one soft interview... she added that the roof was slanted and could be dangerous... someone needs to get her out of her position today....
Disgraceful. If this is what the secret service has become we should reassign them and give the job to the US marine corps

How else could a 20yo pull this off on his own?
The same way James Earl Ray pulled off a head shot on MLK, threw his rifle where it would be found immediately, escaped untouched with the FBI, Memphis and state poleece, and army intelligence and unknown others watching, led us and interpol around the world with an IQ the equivalent of a door knob. That's how.

If you can park a car nearby and drag out a ladder and carry a Rifle with you all bets are off. Was he wearing an overcoat in july? with the rifle inside like a flasher? Any ladder would have be carried along. They just thought he wanted a better look at the fenceline?

When the secret service director is gas lighting us something is very wrong....

COUNTER-SNIPER SQUAD: Well.... derp duh derp... what do you mean we were supposed to be on TOP of the building...derp?

This my friends, must be a direct result of the 2nd Circuit US Court of Appeals 2000 decision in the Jordan v. City of New London case, that said it was OK to for police departments to discriminate against potential hires for scoring high on a cognitive ability exam.

A local police counter-sniper team was stationed inside the building where attempted assassin Thomas Crooks climbed on the roof and fired on Donald Trump, law enforcement sources told The Post.

The building — the AGR International Inc. factory in Butler, Pennsylvania — was being used by local police as a “watch post” for snipers to scan for threats as the former president spoke onstage only 130 yards away, according to sources.

Cops were inside, but not on the roof during the shooting, sources said.
Yeah, this is truly amazing. The secret service apparently didn't think the building was any kind of a threat because it was being used by the local police. Surely the local police wouldn't let an armed person up on the roof, right under their very noses, would they? And, when a local officer confronted the then would be assassin, he ducked down out of harms way when the assassin pointed his gun at him. I guess since he wasn't trained by the secret service to put his own life in harms way in order to save the "protected", he ducted out of the way so the assassin had free reign to shoot. On top of that, with so many people there pointing out the gunman before he shot, you'd think they'd have radios telling the secret service to get Trump out of there before speaking. But, I'm just a layman, what do I know?
