The Voting Rights Act has stood and challenges have been made by citizens groups under the VRA, for more than 50 years. At no time has any court said that such groups don't have standing to sue, until the Federalist Society Court decreed that only AG's have standing to sue.
The Federalist Supreme Court has been cutting the legs out from under the VRA since Obama was in office. It's accelerating now that the radical Federalist Society Justices have a strong majority.
