List of Senate Dems who voted for the Republican CR

You couldn't be more wrong. This CR gives new budgetary authority to Trump and Musk as I described in post #24...and the weakling Schumer voted for it anyway.

I expect the Republicans in Congress to be total pathetic, cowardly sacks of shit ready to give all their power over to Trump....I didn't expect it from the so-called "leader" of the Democratic Party in the Senate.

Do you even know what CR stands for? Me thinks you're confusing the CR with the Budget Reconciliation bill. Two vastly different animals.

The full-year CR is roughly equivalent to FY 2024 funding with a few anomalies, including the removal of all Congressionally Directed Spending (“earmarks”) and other smaller shifts in funding between appropriations titles (described in the table below). The net result is a $10 billion increase in funding above FY 2024 levels and roughly flat total funding between the previous two CRs and this one.

Party before country, eh Creepy?

Shutdown under different presidents:

Democrats under Biden: Shutting down the gov't would be irresponsible and would deprive grandma of her SS money. Shame on republicans for wanting to do this!

Democrats under Trump: Shut this mother fucker down!

Double standard? Nah.

Who, who is going to support me with the "Term Limits" request.

All these Politicians are SCUM, corrupt.
They ALL base their decisions upon...."How Do I win the next election"

The Republicans may not be the Answer to all our Problems , but the Democrats are the Cause of all our Problems …

Hasan isn't running again. This is a list of the few reasonable Dems remaining.

Chuck Schumer is dead to me.

You want to know why the Democratic Party eats shit and can't beat someone as fucking horrible as Donald Trump in a Presidential election?? -- The answer to that question is the worthless coward Chuck Schumer.

I watched Schumer try to justify his cowardice to Chris Hayes on MSNBC yesterday. Chris Hayes wasn't having it, he made his disagreement with Schumer known. Hayes explained it to Schumer in simple terms -- "You have to meet conflict with conflict". This is the only thing that Trump, Musk, and the rest of the MAGA Nazis respect.

Trump and Musk are going to continue to walk all over Congress, especially when worthless Democratic "leaders" like Chuck Schumer don't have the stomach for the fight. I said this back in November -- Schumer is the wrong Democratic leader for the wrong time. He needs to go.
Hayes will not stand in the front of the line in areal violence and take a beating for his views He sends others out to do it. And most of the violence is one way. The reason he talks as bravely as he does. He is truly privileged as he is one of the most insulated people who live great and have little worry of anyone killing him currently.

/----/ I wanted to have a shutdown. Then Trump could say who was nonessential, send them home without pay, and decide when and if they could all come back after the CR passed.
