You couldn't be more wrong. This CR gives new budgetary authority to Trump and Musk as I described in post #24...and the weakling Schumer voted for it anyway.
I expect the Republicans in Congress to be total pathetic, cowardly sacks of shit ready to give all their power over to Trump....I didn't expect it from the so-called "leader" of the Democratic Party in the Senate.
Do you even know what CR stands for? Me thinks you're confusing the CR with the Budget Reconciliation bill. Two vastly different animals.
The full-year CR is roughly equivalent to FY 2024 funding with a few anomalies, including the removal of all Congressionally Directed Spending (“earmarks”) and other smaller shifts in funding between appropriations titles (described in the table below). The net result is a $10 billion increase in funding above FY 2024 levels and roughly flat total funding between the previous two CRs and this one.
