Line of Fire: The Somme

Just watched this on Prime. Actually enjoyed it, but it is an hour and a half docudrama of a British TV movie from 2005. It has definitely piqued my interest in watching more movies on this battle. From July 1st, 1916, to November 18 of 1916, 3 million soldiers took part in this battle, and over 1 million were killed or wounded. One of the bloodiest battles in world history.

This British Brodie helmet I have in my collection came from the Somme. A bloody, hallowed ground for sure.
