On Fox News this morning, it is being reported that Libya, N. Korea and Iraq were conspiring to create a nuke factory in Libya sponsored by Sadam's money and researched by Iraqi scientist. It is reported that this was the reason for going into Iraq vs. "oil" or "democracy". I could not find a link to the t.v. news story on this, but below is the link for the N. Korea - Libya connection.
It is further reported that Bush became aware of this within a month of 9/11 and that was the primary reason for abandoning the active hunt for OBL and focusing on bringing down Sadam.
If this is true, then the Libs will go absolutely nuts. Has anyone else heard anything on this and if so...any links?
