Think they are pretty well out of the basement here in Jackson, but wearing masks going into the stores as required, like the rest of us. Probably cause, deaths still climbing locally here. Today TN is 15th on new cases, by 4th or 5th in the country on new Covid deaths. I take it, it is all clear where you are. Congrats to you and hope it stays that way.

The numbers have been grossly inflated by the hospitals treating sick patients. If they claim that the death is a Covid 19 death then they get paid by the Federal Government for treating them! If they claim they were on a respirator before they died that amount shoots all the way up to $40,000 per patient! It doesn't take a genius to guess how THAT scenario played out! Hospital administrators across the country running hospitals that weren't allowed to do elective surgeries saw a way to make up the millions of dollars they weren't making by simply claiming most of the deaths in their hospitals to be Covid 19 related!

They died because it was their time to. They were helped by local politicians. After this is over or as time passes, to be given real stats on every way possible after infection to die, would be interesting. It seems lower immune systems is not a good thing. The elderly, the diseased, the morbidly obese and out of shape, the sickly who get the virus may be more prone to dying. As much as I want it to be like you do, government is not God when it comes to many things. Death and taxes though is what it excels at. It moves at a certain speed and that is what it is going to do. So Katrina could not be put back to normal the day after the hurricane just like the dropping of the A bomb on Hiroshima could not happen on December 8, 1941.
