at a recent meeting with African leaders ,the President of Liberia stated that his country supports the US and believes in Trumps policy of MAGA ! he also touted the minerals in his country and would like an opportunity to do a survey of said minerals ! is this an offer for American investments in Liberias rare earth minerals ? and the fact that the Liberian President supports MAGA is a telling opinion of Americas new direction under the current admin when it comes to African sentiment . the leaders comments begin at around the 2 min 30 sec mark of the video ..MAGA !

When I get a tech from India or the Phillippines or wherever on the phone and they speak really good English, I compliment them on their beautiful English. I have not sensed that a single one of them has been offended by that and all thank me for the compliment.

World leaders are just people. They may have more name recognition and more power than most people, but they're just people.

But then I have been against the PC mentality since it became a thing and really get very tired of those who use it is a political weapon every chance they get even if they have to make up the chances.

Well it might have been just a wee snafu in protocol as the official language of Liberia is English. But he certainly was not insulting in any way. If anything he insulted his own delegation there by suggesting the Liberian President spoke better English than they did.

There is an etiquette to diplomacy that has nothing to do with PC at all.
